Centrally located in the city of Lithgow, 52 on Mort is an ideal base to explore the beauty of the Blue Mountains, the wineries of Mudgee and the historic goldfields of Bathurst.

Getting There:

From Richmond (Bell's Line of Road)
Follow the Bells Line of Road through Bell, and past the Zig Zag Railway at Clarence. Approximately 10km past the Zig Zag Railway you will descend into the Lithgow Valley via Scenic Hill. Turn left onto Clywdd St at the Ford dealership. Turn right into Boundary St and then after 30 metres turn left into Mort Lane. Travel approximately 90 metres to the driveway of 52 on Mort.

From Katoomba (Great Western Highway)
Enter Lithgow as you travel west along the Great Western Highway. Turn right into Main St at McDonalds corner. Turn right at the first traffic lights, and then a quick left onto Mort St. Follow this street for approximately 2kms. Follow the road around a dogleg bend. Turn right at the Ford dealership onto Clywdd St. Turn right into Boundary St and then after 30 metres turn left into Mort Lane. Travel approximately 90 metres to the driveway of 52 on Mort.

Cleanliness		We spent 5 nights in a 2 bedroom apartment during a particularly cold time of the year. Apart from a few cobwebs and a partial blockage in the bathroom drain which really didn't cause any problems, the unit was exactly what we wanted and represented good value for money. Pity their website didn't mention that wireless internet access was provided free of charge or I would have brought my laptop but that helped it to be even more of a holiday. Cleanliness		On arrival we were pleasently surprised; the lights were already on to welcome us in and the apartment was spacious, comfortable and well maintained with a very large and fully equipped kitchen. In fact it was so comfortable we discarded plans to eat out and put the kitchen to good use - the supermarket is only minutes up the road. The bed was comfortable with plenty of covers to keep us warm while the frost settled outside and in the morning the shower provided plenty of hot water. 52 on Mort is definitely an addition to our list of places we will stay again. A standard size frypan and a larger pot for cooking pasta would be appreciated.
