Imagine... your own private solid slab settlers cottage tucked away in the middle of nowhere, only one and a half hours from Sydney.
The mud brick cottage with potbelly heating - cosy for two, friendly up to eight.
With 5 cottages plus the main homestead on 40 acres of beautiful secluded mountain country, surrounded by reserve leading down to the Grose River -
mountains to climb, caves and creeks to explore, or... a comfy couch on your verandah where you can relax and listen to the silence.
All cottages are fully self-contained, with electric oven, microwave oven and gas barbecue outside by the creek.
Settlers cottages have double spa baths and open fireplace. Lots of extras are provided for your enjoyment: towelling robes, massage oils, aromatherapy
burners, candle light and complimentary toiletries.
You'll find quality manchester and kitchen goods, and a stereo unit for your favourite CDs and tapes - volume won't be a problem.
We welcome well-behaved children and pets. Even your horse can be included! Dogs must be restrained at night to protect our precious wildlife.
Noticeboards in each cottage give details of local restaurants and points of interest, although few guests tear themselves away.
Guests are invited to use the pool with trickling waterfall at the house and the 'Super Grasse' tennis court in its spectacular bush setting.
For a romantic weekend, a bottle of champagne and chilled glasses welcome you. Local specialists will treat you to aromatherapy, massage, facials,
make-overs, guided bush walks or clairvoyant readings, depending on availability - something for everyone.

Mud Brick was the original family home, with three bedrooms and two large outdoor entertaining areas, you have the best of both worlds in summer or winter. A two person spa set in the garden conservatory gives the feeling of relaxing outside in your private garden, yet in the warmth and security of your own cabin. A slow combustion fire with a glass front door fills the cabin with beautiful warmth from within. The main chimney passes through the upper floors of the cabin where the 4 person bedroom above the living area remains as warm as if in front of the fire.

Jacaranda Cottage

Jacaranda, named after the trees that have grown in front of the veranda, the cabin looks directly over the Lilly pond, set beside the pond is your private BBQ area and a rustic hardwood garden setting to sit and while away the day. On the front veranda is a long lounge to relax on and fall asleep in the morning sun. Or just stay inside in front of the open fire with wood aplenty, provided by your courteous staff. Surely this is Gods country, birds, fish, frogs, crystal clear water and magnificent sky’s, totally peaceful, maybe this is heaven.

Willow Cottage

Willow, this slab hut sits closest to the river, you can hear the stream as it cascades over the moss covered rocks. Set closest to the river, you can laze away in the hammock or throw the picnic blanket down next to the river and listen to all the natural sounds nature has to offer in this pristine rain forest. The cottage is set on the high side of the paddock with a couple of acres of rolling grass in front of your cabin there is plenty of places for the occasional cricket game or kicking a ball around.

Magnolia, named after the tree planted at the front veranda, the cottage boasts both open fire and air-conditioning. Looking out over your vast front yard of an acre or ore you can see the garden setting in the middle of the yard bathed in all day sun. Down towards the river are the two trees holding up the hammock in the shade of the afternoon . The river passes straight by the cabin and the sounds of the small waterfalls are heard throughout the valley. Set at the back of the cabin is your own little Garden of Eden, where you can sit by the stream on a picnic blanket away from everyone and only hear the sounds of the river.

Cabbage Tree, again the name is derived from the trees nearby. As you enter this magnificent driveway you would think your were the only people in existence, lined by a country timber horse fence, your boundaries are declared and you can hear the river that runs right alongside your whole block. A huge front and back yard of about 2 acres make it a perfect place for the family or just walking off into the bush for a leisurely stroll along the river. Open fires or air-conditioning your call. The pets have a free rain and can be seen from every part of the cottage.
