IRONFEST - LITHGOW April 20 - 22, 2018Regular Event: April 20 - 22, 2018 The 18th annual Lithgow District Ironfest 2018, will be held at the Lithgow Showground over the weekend of April 20 - 22, hours: Sat. 10.00am – 6.00pm & Sun. 10.00am – 4.00pm. Ironfest is an arts festival with a metal edge, featuring art exhibitions, stalls, live music, street performance, historical re-enactments, (including the Australasian World Jousting Tournament and a colonial battle re-enactment entitled ‘The Battle of Lithgow’ featuring cannons and cavalry!), blacksmithing demonstrations, workshops, busking competitions, automotive displays, educational, historical and technological displays and lots more! |
Places to Eat
Jannei Goat DairyJannei Goat Dairy is a working dairy with a Cheese Processing Plant on the farm. The dairy specialises in Fresh style goat cheese but also makes semi hard style cheese as well. Raw milk also can be purchased at the dairy and natural yoghurt. A free cheese tasting is available and retail sales from the cellar door. |
